Here I am 12 years later shaking hands with The Hitman!
Bret was doing a book signing for his Autobiography which was finally released in America. However, I had bought the Canadian Release last year because I didn't feel like waiting.
Bret had noticed the difference in the books he was signing and Mine. (There was a big difference) He smiled when I told him how I had gotten it last year.
He asked what I had thought about the book. I was still awestruck, but I was able to talk to him this time. I told him he was my hero when I was a teenager and after reading his book and learning of a lot of his triumphs, tragedies, and flaws, he's a much bigger hero to me now. (I did get a little choked up)
And to think I almost chose not to go to this book signing!
Sweeet pic my friend...Bret truly envokes his the saying The Best There Is, The Best There Was and The Best There Ever Will Be cause I have yet to see anyone come into WWE that is half the technical wrestler that Bret was... alot of the new wrestlers since Bret are pure strength with some technical wrestling ability thrown in there for good measure as well as being there for the fans and are for the most part nice and all, but it is the ones like Bret who wrestled 20+ years that really appreciate the fans the most in my opinion

True. My Problem with a lot of Wrestlers today is they lack psychology and proper story telling.
With Wrestling you need to have a certain suspension of disbelief, but with Bret's matches, they looked and felt real and the outcomes (weather he won or lost) were believable. Plus he had a talent for making not just himself but the guys he was facing look great.
